I am new to hand embroidery and would like to learn. What would you suggest me to start with?

That's fantastic! I am glad you are ready to start your journey in hand embroidery. I suggest to start with a beginner's embroidery kit that has everything you need to start with. Most of my embroidery kits are suitable for beginners. But I would recommend you one of below:

  • 'Enjoy' kit (Perfect if you haven't ever held a hoop and stitched with a needle. It gives a general feel of how stitching is like with one simple stitch!)
  • 'Hello Rainbow' kit (Perfect if you have done stitching before and can explore 16 different basic beginner embroidery stitches!)
I have my own embroidery hoop, needles and threads. Can I only buy the printed fabric and design guide from your shop?

Yes. Please check the "Pre-Printed Fabrics" Section in my shop. It has various design options for you to select.

What fabric do you use in embroidery kits? Can the design on the fabric be washed away? 

All embroidery kits have 100% cotton fabric. The design has been digitally printed on the fabric which means that the design cannot be washed away. You need to cover the design with your stitches.

I do not want an embroidery kit but I want a ready piece of one of the design. Can you make one for me?

Yes definitely!! I would love to make a ready hoop art for one of the existing designs/patterns which are available as embroidery kit. Please drop me a message here and we can discuss it further :)

Do you take custom or personalised orders for embroidery?

At the moment, I am not accepting any custom or personalized order. Feel free to message me here for any specifics or check back again in future!

Can I use your designs/patterns to create products & sell them?

No! All rights are reserved and the designs/patterns are copyrighted to The Embroidery Cart and not availiable for commercial use. They are strictly for personal use only. Please do not alter the pattern, distribute, resell or claim as your own pattern. Also please do not resell the finished work made out of my patterns. They are for personal use and gifting only.


I have placed my order. When will my order be dispatched?

Once the order has been confirmed, it takes 1-3 days of processing time before your order gets dispatched. I try my best to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.

Can I modify or cancel after it has been placed?

I understand that circumstances may change. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate your request, but please note that orders are processed quickly to ensure prompt delivery.

How do I track my order or check the order status?

Tracking the status of your order is easy. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email to verify it.

If you selected standard delivery at checkout then it does not come with any tracking. Your package will arrive soon. If you have selected a different shipping method, a unique tracking number would have been mentioned in the email to track the status of the package. You can use this tracking number on the carrier's website to monitor the real-time status and location of your package.

My order is a gift. Do you provide gift wrapping service?

Items do not come gift wrapped, by default! However, I would be more than happy to accommodate gift wrapping at no extra charge. A printed gift note can also be added with your item. Please leave me a note at checkout!!

I have ordered a PDF digital embroidery pattern. Where do I find my digital files?

You can download your digital files from your order confirmation page or via your order confirmation email. Please email me with your order number if you have any difficulty finding them and I will be happy to email you your PDF's. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer a variety of convenient payment methods to make your shopping experience seamless. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards.


Where are you located and what shipping options do you offer?

We are based in Chelmsford, United Kingdom. All the items are shipped from UK.

For domestic UK Shipping, we usually use Royal Mail for shipping. You can choose standard shipping with little longer delivery time or expedited shipping for faster delivery. For international shipping, we only send items using tracked service. You can choose from various options during checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do offer international shipping to some countries. At the moment, we are only shipping to UK, USA, UAE, Canada & Australia only through the website. For all other locations, please visit my Etsy Shop and place an order here.

How much does shipping cost?

The exact shipping costs are calculated based on the destination and the weight of the items in the customer's shopping cart. Customers can view the shipping costs during the checkout process before completing their purchase.


What is your return policy?

Our return policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can first contact me within 7 days of receiving it for a refund. Please check the Refunds & Returns policy in detail here.

I received my order and there is a problem with the item I received. What should I do?

Are there return shipping fees?

In most cases, return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. However, if the return is due to an error on our part, such as receiving a damaged or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping costs.
